About James

Hi, I’m James.

I’m a London-based percussionist, bongo player and live music coordinator with a serious love for bringing people together on the dancefloor.

Over the years, I’ve performed at weddings, luxury private events, corporate functions and festivals across the UK and beyond. From intimate celebrations to big, high-energy parties, my job is simple: read the room, lift the energy and help create those “we’ll never forget this” moments.

Alongside live performance, I also help clients build brilliant entertainment line-ups, sourcing and coordinating talented DJs, saxophonists, vocalists, percussionists and musicians to suit the vibe of the event.

Whether you’re planning a wedding, brand activation, festival moment or private celebration, I’ll help create the perfect soundtrack — with plenty of personality along the way.

FAQs

Good things to know.

Do you travel outside London?

Yes. James is London-based but travels across the UK and internationally, and has performed everywhere from Australia to the Maldives.

Can you provide DJs and other musicians?

Absolutely. James has been working in live entertainment for over 10 years and has an extensive network of DJs, saxophonists, vocalists, percussionists and other musicians. He can help build the right line-up for your event from start to finish.

Do you perform at weddings?

All the time. Weddings are a huge part of what James does, from drinks reception energy through to full dancefloor percussion alongside a DJ.

What equipment do you provide?

James can source and provide everything needed for his performance and wider entertainment packages. Once he knows the venue, set-up and timings, he’ll advise on exactly what’s required.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible, especially if you have a specific date in mind. James does occasionally have shorter-notice availability, but bookings are already being taken for events as far ahead as 2028.

And if James isn’t personally available, his entertainment coordination service means he can still help organise the music, including an alternative percussionist, with his quality stamp on the whole line-up.
